About Aldenté
Aldenté is a recipe app for iPhone and iPad. It saves the recipes you find on TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest and food sites, then helps you actually cook them, with a chef you can ask mid-recipe.
It's made by Saucey App Corp, a small Texas company founded by Malcolm Smith and Sophie. The app has been on the App Store since October 21, 2025, first under the name Saucey. It became Aldenté in February 2026.

Built by two people who cook
Malcolm and Sophie started Aldenté because they had the same problem as everyone else: hundreds of saved recipes and the same three dinners every week.
Saving a recipe was never the hard part. Cooking it was. So the app is built around getting you from "saved" to "dinner": a chef to ask when you're stuck, a grocery list you share with your household, and friends whose cooking you can copy.
We're a small team. We test features by cooking dinner with them. Questions or ideas? Get in touch.

Our mission
Help people fall back in love with cooking.
Feeds turned cooking into something you watch instead of something you make. People started thinking cooking was hard. We want the opposite: more saves turned into dinners, cooked with your own hands.
01
Fall back in love with cooking.
Not as content to scroll. Not as a chore to dread. As the hands-on, joyful thing it is.
02
Get confident in your own kitchen.
Knowing what to make, and knowing you can pull it off. Cooking isn't hard. It's just been gatekept.
03
Fall in love with good ingredients.
Real food, real care. Good ingredients are the heart of any good recipe.

What Aldenté does
- Save everything, free. Share a TikTok, Instagram post, Pinterest pin or recipe site to Aldenté, or add one by voice, text or photo. No cap on how many.
- Cook with a chef. Every recipe has a chef chat. Ask about swaps, scaling or "is it supposed to look like this?" Your chef remembers your allergies.
- Plan and shop together. A meal plan and grocery list you can share with your household in one invite.
- Cook with friends. See what your friends actually make, and save it.
- Give what you make. Print your recipes as a real cookbook, from $29.
The best recipes come from people you know.
Your coworker's slow cooker chili. Your mom's birthday cake. That pasta your roommate won't stop talking about.
They're buried in screenshots and lost in DMs. Aldenté puts them in one place, next to the friends who made them, so the next step is cooking.
